NRC RESUMES PORT HARCOURT TO ABA TRAIN SERVICES TODAY 9TH SEPTEMBER 



The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has announced the resumption of train operations today 9th September 2025 on the Port Harcourt to Aba route which was temporarily suspended to allow for routine maintenance.

According to a press release by the Eastern district public relations officer of the corporation Mr Onyedikachi S. Onovo, the routine maintenance exercise has been successfully executed, hence the resumption of train services.

The release made it known that holders of train tickets affected by the temporary suspension, will enjoy free train service, while new passengers purchasing tickets, will enjoy a 50% discount on all classes of the train services.

The corporation also reiterated it's commitment to reliable, safe and comfortable train service delivery to passengers at all times.
