WARRI-ITAKPE TRAIN SERVICE MANAGEMENT PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO OBI OF OWA OYIBU TO STRENGTHEN COMMUNITY TIES



The Management Team of the Warri-Itakpe Train Service (WITS), led by the Coordinator Mr. Nanjul Wuyep, today paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty Dr Emmanuel Efeizomor ll , the Obi of Owa. The delegation included the head of BUPED Mr. Oyekunle, Engr Arisa and heads of departments in the WITS.


The visit underscored WITS’ commitment to fostering mutual understanding and deepening partnerships with host communities along the rail corridor. Discussions centered on collaborative opportunities to enhance security, promote socio-economic development, and ensure seamless railway operations for the benefit of all stakeholders.


Speaking during the visit, Mr. Oyekunle reaffirmed the organisation’s dedication to community engagement, stating: “We remain resolute in building bridges of trust and cooperation with traditional institutions and local communities to sustain safe, efficient, and inclusive rail services


The Obi of Owa Oyibu commended the delegation for the gesture and pledged continued support for the Warri-Itakpe Train Service
