DOKA’S FICTION, EL-RUFAI’S PANIC AND THE LIE THAT COLLAPSES ON CONTACT WITH FACTS

A Full Rebuttal to the Manufactured Propaganda Targeting Me

When people in political circles are desperate to win a perception battle, they stop fighting with facts - they start dragging individuals and inventing stories. That is exactly what Mohammed Bello Doka did in his emotional fiction titled “How Onanuga  Hired a Wailer.”

His write-up is not journalism.

It is not analysis.

It is not even propaganda.

It is panic, wrapped in grammar and sprinkled with name-dropping.

So let’s dismantle it calmly, point by point.

1. THE LIE AT THE FOUNDATION OF DOKA’S ARTICLE

He claims: “ Bayo Onanuga hired me.”

This is the easiest lie to bury because:

I have never met Bayo Onanuga.

I have never spoken to him.

I have never been paid by the presidency.

I have no business with anybody inside Tinubu’s government.

If speaking your mind now means “you’re hired by Onanuga,” then truly, Nigeria’s political class no longer understands independent thinking.

Doka’s accusation is not based on evidence.

Not on logic.

Not on facts.

It is based on fear the fear that my honest analysis shook their narrative more than they expected.

2. THE HYPOCRISY OF USING MY OLD POSTS AGAINST ME

Doka listed my past criticisms of Tinubu as if they are evidence of inconsistency.

But in truth, they are evidence of something he cannot understand:

I SPEAK TRUTH TO POWER - NO MATTER WHO IS IN POWER.

This is the difference between me and Doka’s political idols.

When Buhari was failing, I said it.

When Tinubu made wrong moves, I said it.

When I believed the presidency made the right moves, I said it.

This is called principle, something that irritates professional praise-singers.

Doka cannot understand how someone can criticize AND still want a leader to succeed.

It is alien to him -  because his school of thought says:

“Support blindly, even when the house is burning.”

Meanwhile, patriotic citizens do the opposite:

Criticize when needed.

Support when deserved.

Hold leaders accountable always.

If Doka cannot understand this, that is his personal struggle - not my problem.

3. MY POSTS WERE NOT “ANTI-TINUBU” - THEY WERE PRO-NIGERIA

Every post Doka listed had one objective:

To push the government toward better security, better intelligence management, better foreign policy, and better governance.

If he interprets that as “anti-Tinubu,” it means he believes Leaders cannot survive honesty.

And ironically, that says more about him than me.

4. DOKA’S ENTIRE ARGUMENT COLLAPSES IN ONE SENTENCE

He says: “How can someone who criticized Tinubu suddenly defend him?”

Very simple:

Because I am not a blind follower like him.

I am a Nigerian who wants Nigeria to work.

I supported Buhari, then criticized him when he failed.

I supported Tinubu, and I criticize him when necessary.

I defend him when he is unfairly attacked with religious manipulation.

That is called growth, integrity, and loyalty to country not politicians.

Doka should try it sometime.

5. THE REAL ISSUE: DOKA AND EL-RUFAI EXPECT PRAISE, NOT TRUTH

Let’s be honest:

Their anger is not about Onanuga.

Not about Tinubu.

Not about me.

Their anger is because my original post destroyed Nasir El-Rufai's religious manipulation strategy.

I pointed out with facts that the era of political Islam as a tool of control is ending.

El-Rufai shared the post thinking it would favour him.

But the more people read it, the more they realised:

The man using religion is El-Rufai, not Tinubu.

That is why they panicked.

That is why they scrambled to assassinate my character.

That is why Doka wrote a 7-page tantrum disguised as intellectualism.

6. WHY THEY DIGGED MY ARCHIVE

Simple:

Their arguments are too weak to stand on their own.

When they cannot touch your logic,

they attack your past.

When they cannot defeat your message,

they attack your character.

When they cannot counter your analysis,

they call you “hired.”

This is the classic behaviour of drowning politicians.

7. IF ANYTHING, MY OLD POSTS PROVE I CANNOT BE BOUGHT

Imagine the stupidity of Doka’s argument:

He is accusing me of being hired by the presidency…

…while using my own past criticisms of the presidency as evidence!

If I was “hired,” why would I criticize Tinubu boldly in the first place?

Why would my archive be filled with brutally honest assessments?

Why would I write posts demanding security reforms, professional intelligence, and accountability?

It shows one thing:

Sa’adiyyah is not controlled by Aso Rock.

Sa’adiyyah is not controlled by Kaduna.

Sa’adiyyah is controlled only by her conscience.

And conscience terrifies politicians.

8. WHAT DOKA FAILED TO ADDRESS - THE REAL REASON HE WROTE HIS ARTICLE

He never challenged:

❌ the facts in my original post

❌ the evidence of El-Rufai using religion

❌ the manipulation of the Northern narrative

❌ the inconsistency of El-Rufai’s political positions

❌ the damage religious politics has done to the North

He avoided ALL of them because he cannot debate ideas - only insult individuals.

His article is a distraction tactic.

A 7-page fig leaf for a naked argument.

9. I OWE NO POLITICIAN ANYTHING

Unlike Doka, I am not tied to:

El-Rufai

Bayo Onanuga

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu 

Any “cartel”

Any media network

Any political camp

I criticize when leaders go wrong,

I applaud when they go right,

And I don’t need permission from men whose relevance depends on political godfathers.

10. DOKA’S ARTICLE FAILED AND BACKFIRED

Instead of discrediting me, he proved everything I have been saying:

✔ They fear independent thinkers.

✔ They hate people who cannot be controlled.

✔ They panic when truths they cannot manipulate go public.

✔ They are threatened by voices that refuse to kneel.

His attack does not weaken me.

It validates me.

Because when truth becomes uncomfortable,

the first reaction of insecure political actors is always the same:

Attack the messenger.

And that is exactly what Doka did.

Mohammed Bello Doka can keep writing novels for political patrons.

As for me:

I will continue saying what many are afraid to say without fear, without favour, without being owned by any politician.

Nigeria needs more honesty, not more praise-singers.

If they expected me to apologise for being consistent, patriotic, and independent…

They will wait forever.
